Developing Effective Teams
- Align Tasks and Role to Skills and Motivation: However good a motivator you are, people can only motivate themselves. If the tasks assigned to the member is in line with what motivates them and what skills they possess, you have ensured that you do not have any disgruntled members in your team.
- Take the Blame and give Credit to the Team: Giving critical and constructive feedback needs to be done alone and appreciation needs to be done in public. Never get into blame game. Cultivate the maturity to take a back seat and give all the credit to the team when they succeed.
